Hello everyone! The time has come and for the first time ever, I am actually able to attend an official Read-A-Thon (a.k.a. a reading marathon...a marathon for reading...you read lots of books!)! I’ve managed to kind of miss all the previous ones, I either had exams or the themes didn’t suit me, but now I’m just here, all hyped up and ready to take down a lot of books!

Each year, there are new challenges announced that relate to the books you decide to read. They aren’t obligatory, but they are meant to add some fun and help decide what to read!
These are the books I am going to read!
Sid Jacobson, Ernie Colón -- The Anne Frank Graphic Biography
The cover of the book is slightly yellow! Besides, other books that I’m going to read have a bit of yellow on them as well! Besides, this is a graphic novel which should be really great for a readathon!
2. A book I can only read after the sunset
Tony DiTerlizzi -- The Spiderwick Chronicles
I was a bit sceptical about this challenge at first, but then I thought it was actually a really great idea! I decided to go with The Spiderwick Chronicles. I really liked the film although it’s been many years since I’ve seen it. Besides, it’s a children’s book and it shouldn’t take too long to read. And there’s definitely going to be that chilling effect when I read it at night time only!
3. A book that I've been introduced to through booktube
Renée Ahdieh -- The Wrath and the Dawn
I had no idea at first and I wanted to cheat/leave out the challenge completely. I actually meant to read this book anyway, because I’ve already started it and then it occurred to me that I’ve actually really discovered it through booktube! Yay! Everything is fine, let’s just join hands and ride off into the sunset!
4. A book that is older than me
Virginia Woolf -- Mrs Dalloway
I somehow hoped that the Margaret Atwood short stories book I had around would be older than me, but apparently I’m too old, so no luck. This is the second oldest book I’ve got lying around and I’ve meant to read it countless times! This time, I’m really going to do it!
5. A book by my favourite author
Robert Galbraith -- The Silkworm
Self-explanatory enough.
6. Read the book, then watch the film adaptation
I have decided to refrain from this one, because 1. I didn’t feel like it and 2. I do have a book and a film adaptation here, but the book is 900 pages long and definitely not in a language I’m a pro at, so not a good choice for a readathon!
7. Read 7 books
I will!
Leslye Walton -- The Strange and Beautiful Sorrows of Ava Lavender
I book I have waited for for about two years! I was just really lazy to buy it, yet I wanted to read it so bad. Well, I finally will!
7. Graeme Simsion -- The Rosie Effect
Enough said, I really liked the first one and I have no idea why i’ve waited so long for the sequel!
8. J.K. Rowling -- Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix
Because everyone likes an overachiever!
Are you participating as well? What is your to read list?
And for everyone else: Please help me with the order I should read in! I haven’t decided yet!
