Hello everyone! The time has come and for the first time ever, I am actually able to attend an official Read-A-Thon (a.k.a. a reading marathon...a marathon for reading...you read lots of books!)! I’ve managed to kind of miss all the previous ones, I either had exams or the themes didn’t suit me, but now I’m just here, all hyped up and ready to take down a lot of books!

I wanted to write this post for a very long time, but now there's the perfect opportunity. My local library is closed down for a week! *insert some dramatic music, apocalypse images and people dying* For me, it's been a week of torture for several reasons that I'm going to address here. It just made me realise how much I actually love the library and why you should love it, too! I'm not the new year's resolutions type of person. In fact, I never do them, I don't like them. I'm not even the new year's type of person. I just go with the fact that now I have to learn to write a different number at the end of the current year, which is always a pain. When it comes to books, however, I think I can make a huge exception and I may even have a few resolutions. Every reader ever wants to get into a reading slump. Reading slumps are the most important parts of our reading lives. Hit 'Read More' to get to tips on how to finally achieve your book slump.
