At the beginning of 2016, I made a reading goals post.. And now I wanted to write something similar. I’m at the end of my 2nd semester and my exams are in two weeks. I’ve been in a reading slump for a while, because I was being a massive nerd and now I’m still a little too stressed to be able to enjoy reading, but I can feel the massive drive to start reading again. Now I’m going to have almost three months of semester break and I really wanted to write down some of the goals I would love to achieve during the summer. |
Now that I made it sound like a fun game, I should get going as soon as possible. I shall also enclose my immediate tbr list of 10 books that will definitely be among the first ones:
1. The rest of the Harry Potter series
2. Renee Ahdiedh - The Wrath and the Dawn
3. Joseph Fink – Welcome to Night Vale
4 Rainbow Rowell – Carry On
5. Robert Galbraith – The Silkworm, The Career of Evil
6. Michelle Hodkin – The Unbecoming of Mara Dyer
7. Reif Larsen – The Selected Works of T.S. Spivet
8. David Levithan – Another Day
9. Christine Thürmer – Laufen. Essen. Schlafen.
10. J.K. Rowling – Harry Potter and the Cursed Child
I'm not going on holiday or anything, my semester break will primarily consist of going to work and reading. How does your break look? I imagine a lot of you are on holiday already (so jealous). Have you also made any summer reading goals? Tell me everything!
- Read 40 books
Last semester break was a bit shorter and I managed to read thirty books. I thought that since this one is a month longer, I could read a few more books. Abd U should make it consistent, reading four books a week. There is a catch though!
- 10 books have to be off my to-read shelf on Goodreads
As I’ve mentioned in my post at the beginning of the year – I want to decrease the number of the books on my to-read shelf on Goodreads. However, that isn’t happening so far, so I need to take action! - 12 books need to be off my library wishlist
I’ve currently got 28 books on my library wishlist. Of course, they are limited by their availability, but I think 12 books shouldn’t be a problem. - At least 2 books I own
I’ve got about 20 books at home and I really need to read those as soon as possible - 2 books from Netgalley
- At least 10 books from my e-reader.
